While retaining the characteristic Pinot Grigio acidity, there is also a creamy juiciness here as well. On the nose you have aromas of fresh white flowers and peaches. On the palate you get lemon and lime notes, gooseberry and nectarine. Pale straw in colour, medium bodied with a finish of saline minerality.

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
Kellerei Kurtatsch is a powerhouse co-operative working in the Alto Adige region of Northern Italy. Located at the foot of the alps, this is a challenging area to work vines which is why co-operatives are more en vogue here than anywhere else.
With 190 families coming together to manage 190ha of vines across different terroirs and altitudes, the benefits of collaboration are obvious. One of the reasons this region is so popular with white wine enthusiasts is due to the temperature differencebetween night and day. This shift is essential for maintaining a sense of freshness and balance in the grapes and is ideally suited for quality Pinot Grigio.
