STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
This domaine is at the cutting edge of this brilliant and relatively recent appellation. Situated on a plateau that is hot and refreshed by mistral winds, the loaction is perfect for growing and ripening some of the best grapes in the southern Rhone. Their flagship wine changes its name every year, rotating between each of the three daughters of the estate, Floureto, Doucinello and Azalaïs.
The organic wine is matured for 12 months in 450-litre wooden tuns. Its intense colour reveals a rich, powerful wine with a ripe (even stewed) nose and spicy notes. After a few years' keeping, it is still full-bodied, with prominent but mellowed tannins. The wine's long, pleasant finish lends it excellent balance.
