STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

Spanning a scarcely believable 26 generations and 6 centuries, the Antinori family have been synonymous with high quality winemaking in Central Italy and beyond. While their historical home base of Tuscany is famous for red wines, these ever-innovative and progressive winemakers purchased the Castello della Sala estate back in 1940 with the specific aim of producing top quality white wines. The Conte della Vipera’s first vintage was back in 1997 and is yet another success story from this powerhouse of Italian wine.
