Burgundian-style Pinot Noir from Chile

Deep ruby red with perfumed scents of wild berries and smoky spices. An elegant medium-bodied palate with flavours of blood orange, sour cherries and earthy plums. Notes of black pepper and warm cinnamon spices compliment the soft tannins. Very smooth with a long finish.

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

While there can sometimes be a gap between statistics and meaning, here are a few from the Cono Sur winery that are worth repeating. This is an estate that has been has been carbon neutral for 13 years as well as organically certified for 17. It’s also the first estate in South American to be double ISO certified for quality and environmental policies. Ocio is the estate’s flagship Pinot Noir from 30 year old vines. There is a purity and concentration of fruit here that will at once transport you to Burgundy with some euros to spare.
