Crafting Exceptional Wines with Four Generations of Expertise

The wine displays a deep garnet hue with amber hints, signifying its maturity. It unveils a complex bouquet of cassis, cigar box, and subtle floral and spice accents. Medium-bodied, it embodies classic Pauillac style with power and presence. Firm tannins, tempered by aging, maintain their characteristic strength. This imparts a timeless, regional essence, harmoniously supported by succulent, ripe currant fruit on a lingering finish.

  • 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot.
  • Ageing for 12 to 14 months in a mix of new and one-year-old wine barrels.

Food Pairing: Grilled ribeye steak, lamb chops with rosemary, Beef Wellington, roast duck with cherry sauce, and aged Gouda or Parmesan cheese.

Cellaring: Now to 2030

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

La Tour Sieujean: a rare, family-owned gem among Pauillac's esteemed estates. It is nestled in the heart of Medoc, carries a four-generation legacy under Michèle and André Lopez. After a stint with the Pauillac cooperative, they rebranded in 2002. The climate yields mature grapes for exceptional 'vins de garde.' With 6 hectares, predominantly 70% cabernet sauvignon and 30% merlot, their terroir and techniques shine. Their wines age for 12-14 months in a mix of new and one-year-old wine barrels, resulting in truly exceptional vintages.
