STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

“It's one of Bordeaux's greatest values and a Château I'm happy to have in my own cellar” William Kelley (Wine Advocate) Sitting dramatically on a deep gravel dome that many consider to be the finest terroir in Moulis, Château Poujeaux has a long history of producing benchmark wines in the region. It is a leading Cru Bourgeois estate of such quality that the Baron Rothschild himself once mistook one of their Grand Vins for his very own Chateau Lafite. High, if unintended praise indeed. A sif thast wasn't enough, 2019 was an exceptional vintage for this estate.
