Generously lush, Merlot-dominant Lussac-St. Emilion
Pleasantly fruity aromatics of black and red plums with fresh herbal notes. Full-bodied with that signature lush, velvety texture we associate with St. Emilion. Flavours of bramble, blueberries and blackberries with hints of clove, chocolate and pepper. Chewy tannins but still elegant and structured on the finish.

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
As a satellite appellation to St. Emilion, Lussac-St. Emilion represents great value while retaining the region’s signature style. While the wines here can sometimes by more robust in style, the average age of the vines at Chateau La Fleur Poitou are 30 years, old giving added concentration. 2018 was a good vintage for the region and this wine is in its ideal drinking window right now.
