A thrilling Médoc with complexion and elegance
Dark cherry red with ruby rim. Complex aroma in which oak’s sweet spice plays a part but where the several varieties give both black and dark-red fruit as well as a lightly herbal cedary quality. Fragrant and inviting.

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
Château Fourcas Hosten has two different complementary terroirs: one is clayey limestone and the other is made up of Pyrenean gravels. As a result, its wines offer a tasty balance of crisp fruit on the attack and multiple layers on the palate with a velvety texture. Subtle, classy tannins make for a very elegant finish. A thrilling Médoc estate based in Listrac. It was purchased in 2006 by members of the Hermès family and all their investment and enthusiasm is paying huge dividends. In 2018 it was in transition to organic and attracted a lot of strong reviews
