STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
Chateau du Tertre is a standout estate in Bordeaux for a number of reasons. Ranked as a fifth growth in the 1855 classification and with over 1000 years of history, it already has a leg-up on most of its peers. But that’s only half the story. The estate’s wines are distinct amongst the classified growths in that they are as equally harmonious and charming in their youth while also being suitable for extended cellaring. Hand-harvested and with a commitment to biodynamic farming, there’s a lot to appreciate here.
