Vibrant, complex and ethereal Bordeaux
Depth, density, freshness and balance, it’s all here. Lush with aromatics of ripe dark plums, black cherry compote, violets and black tea. Further flavours of kirsch, blueberries, cedar, mint and dark chocolate reveal on a broad palate. Powerfully structured with plush tannins and great length.

STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
A right-bank Bordeaux estate of iconic class. The pedigree here is stellar, even by Saint-Émilion standards. With 18th Century dwellings protected by high stones walls and hand-harvesting methods, you're taking a step back in time with every sip. Experts have noted that 2018 was an especially ideal year for Merlot in the region. With it being the dominant grape here (72%, the remaining being Cabernet Franc) combined with an unrivalled pedigree, makes this an archetypal expression of what makes Bordeaux so special.
