STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
There once was a time when it was easy to tell the difference between top-quality Beaujolais and Burgundy. Not so any more. Top-quality Beaujolias is now seen as a rival for many of its Northern cousins in everything except the price tag. Laurent Savoye of Domaine des Combiers bears some responsibility for this.
