BODEGA BRAVO ESCOS 'LES CAMADES', 2020
Fresh, Meaty and Juicy Priorat
Les Camades is the most classic Priorat expression of Torroja. It is a red wine aged in terracotta jars and French oak barrels. The wine is cherry red in color with bluish edges. Aromatically, at first, it shows notes of black and red fruit, such as blackberries, wild strawberries, black plum, etc. It is followed by aromatic herbs of the region, such as lavender, rosemary, thyme, etc., and sweet spices. It combines delicate spicy notes with a strong mineral expression. The wine is fresh and round on the palate, with a mature tenacity that fills the mouth, making it meaty and juicy. The acidity guides you towards the long finish. Overall the wine creates an impression of freshness and warmth like a midsummer escapade.
- Varieties: 50% Carignan, 35% Grenache Noir, 10% Syrah, 3% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon
- Aged in terracotta jars and French oak barrel for 14 months.
