"A fruit forward blend of 70 per cent grenache, 20 per cent syrah and 5 per cent mourvèdre, this has a herbaceous nose with a hint of thyme and gentle vanilla. It is a delicious drinking wine with a core of ripe red fruits such as cherries and a scintilla of cassis. Rich, engaging and sumptuous, containing a flicker of winter spice, well-structured tannins and a lingering finish, it is an excellent match to red meat and rich stews."
