Bright red fruits and hints of spice and wild dry earthy notes on the nose. The palate is rounded and soft but with an energy, full of bright red fruits and with balanced, fresh acidity cutting through. A really well made, excellent value, moreish example of Spanish Garnacha.
Food Pairing: Lamb, goat or char grilled veg and meat.
Cellaring: Ideal to drink now until 2024.
STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
This Garnacha comes from the beautiful and rugged eastern Navarra in the region of Baja Montana. Vineyards of bush and trellised vines are carefully graded before different plots are handpicked and go through a whole bunch fermentation with wild yeasts. 50% is then aged in old oak barrels for one year.
