STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

Rising stars of Beirzo, husband and wife team Jose Antonio and Julia Peña García run this business together. Both are from the region, where Joses family have owned vineyards for generations. Jose is a protégé of Raul Perez, one of Spains most celebrated wine makers and he is now one of Bierzos foremost talents. All work in the vineyards is done with minimal intervention including manual harvesting and whole bunch pressing by foot.
