Teusner's Albert Shiraz is named after Kym Teusner’s Grandfather, Albert Alfred Teusner; a man admired for his commitment and his persistence. The wine is made from parcels of fruit sourced from a couple of Teusner's favourite vineyards, with old vines.
93+ The Wine Advocate “Deep garnet in color with a hint of purple, the 2012 Albert reveals ripe blackberry, black cherry and mulberry scents with nuances of black pepper, licorice and dark chocolate. Full-bodied but not at all heavy, rich and seductively fruited, it packs-in the flavor layers with finely grained tannins and great freshness to frame the fruit, finishing long.” Jun 2015
