WHY BUY ME?
Graeme and Linda Cowley bought this land without any vines. It was only while researching the property that they discovered it was one of the original Marlborough vineyards, established in 1873. Now their sons continue the family passion of producing the best wines they can. Ben produces the fine grapes which Luc then transforms into wines which honour the history and uniqueness of the vineyard.
This wine is only made in exceptional vintages, when the grapes on the steepest slope show the characteristics required to honour the family heritage. Medium bodied with satiny tannins and deep forest fruits.
89 Points The Wine Advocate “This seemed like an opportune time to check in on Auntsfield's 2010 Heritage Pinot Noir, 10 years after the vintage. It's showing a touch of brick at the rim, developed cedary overtones, stewed black cherries and plums and a dusting of mulling spices. It's medium-bodied, with supple tannins” April 2020
