STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
Tinker’s Field is home to the oldest vines on the property and is named after Rippon’s founder Rolfe Mills (Tink to his friends) and the land he dreamt of farming since childhood. Rippon Pinot Noirs are made in limited quantities and are representative of one of the region’s most important producers.
94+ Points The Wine Advocate “Medium to deep ruby-purple colored, the 2012 Tinker's Field Pinot Noir is bit closed (tasted in 2014) at this youthful stage offering glimpses at the blackberry and black cherry aromas with touches of fertile loam and dried herbs. Medium bodied, the concentrated flavors are taut and muscular at this youthful stage with lots of background layers and a firm foundation of grainy tannins, finishing with great length.” Dec 2014
