Why Buy Me

Bought by Hugh Barton, an Irish Bordeaux merchant, after the French Revolution, Château Léoville Barton was classified 2ieme Cru Classé in the 1855 Bordeaux classification.

Winemaker's Pitch

Still fairly intense tannins, balancing well with delicious cassis and red currant fruits. The wine is earthy, spicy, medium to full-bodied and will benefit from further cellaring.
