STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
This vineyard of Chardonnay grapes was planted in 1988, making it one of the oldest Chardonnay vineyards in the country. The estate is owned by the Ord family who have worked with Kevin Arnold since 1998 as cellar master.
An intense aroma of white peach and dried apricot with some floral hints. Well-balanced wine with tropical flavours and acidity. Well judged use of new oak means this wine should age well over the next 6-8 years.
16.5 Points Jancis Robinson: "Pale gold. Nutty oak, and some restraint of white peach and lemon fruit. Good precision, plenty of bright acidity and an elegant, dusty, long finish." Dec 2019
