For five generations the current owners have nurtured this estate, which originally was established by Cistercian monks. After picking by hand, the clear juice is put into oak barrels, one quarter of which are new, and remain there for fourteen months. The result is a top-class, brilliant Burgundy.
This is a rich and racy style, complex on the nose and palate but very generous and opulent.This wine has beautiful minerality and with age the youthful citrus flavours evolve to more mature honey, nutty flavours. This can be kept for 8-10 years.
