STORY BEHIND THIS WINE
The producers behind this wine, Philippe Gaillard and Francois Gilbert are 2 internationally renowned wine critics and tasters. With the decision to put their knowledge and reputations on the line by purchasing the Château in St. Chinian, they now produce a range of great wines in a region known for providing value. Pinot Noir is far from the most planted grape in the Languedoc, but enjoys very favourable expression on hillside sites. The vineyard at Château Gilbert & Gaillard is one such site. You may not have tried Pinot from the region before, but now might be a good time to start.
