STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

"Terra Rossa" named after the soil particular to this part of the Pfalz. The chalky soils of Pfeffingen are optimal for this king of white grapes. Pfalz has long considered one of the main regions for quality German Riesling. Weingut Pfeffingen, idyllically located in the heart of the region is operated by oenologists Jan Eymael, his wife Karin and his mother Doris. With an history that goes back over 250 years we are very excited at Whelehans to share these exclusive and prestigious wines with you.
