An incredibly historic and imposing estate that traces its history back to the middle ages. It achieved official classification in 1953 for both its red and white wines. In the ownership of the Bethmann family since 1867, this 55 hectare estate as one of the jewels of Pessac Leognan. Only 2,000 cases made.
Citrus and honeyed nose with some toast notes. The palate is complex, lively with layers of citrus fruit flavours. The oak is very well integrated. A very pleasing wine.
