The wine has a deep, ruby red colour, a bouquet of dark ripe cherries, raisins, caramel, tobacco, liquorice, and raspberry. On the palate, the wine is smooth, dry and deliciously fruity. Very harmonic and complex.
Food Pairing: Try this more complex Montepulciano with braised goat, Shepards pie, aged cheddar, stuffed baked potato or roasted mushrooms.
Cellaring: great now but can also be kept for another 5 years.
