STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

Vasse Felix was the first wine estate to be established in the Margaret River region of Western Australia in 1967. This classic white Bordelaise blend was first produced in 1987. Its punchy zippy lemon zest fruity personality is a joy to behold, there is a complimentary density & roundness to the palate also, this comes from the oily rich Semillon and the oak aging. This is a beautifully expressive modern wine that is very adaptable when it comes to matching with food.

OUR IMPRESSION

Grassy, waxy, fragrant – lots of pungency and punch. Reasonably soft acid and full body, with perhaps a hint of oak and/or lees giving richness on the finish. 16/20 Points Jancis Robinson . 91/100 Points The Wine Advocate.
