The palate is fresh with flavours of green apple, lime and pink grapefruit as well as a rich herbal seam of white pepper and thyme. The flavours are pristine and exquisite. Kremstel is the heartland of fine Austrian wine and Franz Turk is regularly hailed as one of its outstanding producers and the list of awards to his name is staggering. Grüner is his speciality, with 75% of his vineyards (some dating from the 13th Century) commited to the grape.
