STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

Fréderik Filliatreau is the fourth generation to run this estate of 40 ha just outside Saumur in the Loire Valley. Fréderik’s father Paul was quite innovative and changed the style of wine produced to a light, fresh, tank-aged style of wine. Filliatreau wines are clean, bright and approachable, delivering incredible quality for modest prices. OUR IMPRESSION

A classic, cool-climate Cabernet Franc with a lovely, summer-berry bouquet and a juicy, red fruit palate offset by ripe, youthful tannins.
