Quinta Vale D. Maria was purchased by Cristiano van Zeller in 1996, who set about restoring the winery. This wine is a field blend of over 40 different varieties from various different parcels.
Aromas of dark fruit with savoury tones. Black cherry and supple tannins. Lots of oak but with enough fruit intensity to balance it. A classic Douro, dry yet fruity and scented.
