TERUZZI & PUTHOD 'PEPERINO' ROSSO TOSCANA IGT, 2018

Peperino is represented by a rabbit knight holding a spear and shield and riding a hybrid creature, a snail with a human head. The nose reads a good intensity and persistence, with woody notes that blend harmoniously with the wine’s fruity elements. A full wine with a pleasant, distinctive character, strong tannin notes, but well-balanced to the fruit, and a long aftertaste.

LA CHAPELLE DE POTENSAC, 2018

Blackberry, mushroom and earthy notes on the nose. It is full-bodied with elegant tannins and a savoury, juicy texture in the mouth, leading to a flavorful finish. Lightly juicy. A tiny bit hollow in the middle palate now, but nicely done. Better after 2022, when it will have filled in. Partially aged in French oak barrel between 14 and 16 months | Robert Parker (91 pts)

JOAN D’ANGUERA FINCA L'ARGATÀ, 2016 Organic

This cuvée has evolved to reflect the new minimalist style at Joan d’Anguera. Once a blend of Garnatxa (Garnacha or Grenache), Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon and aged in new wood, Finca l’Argata is now pure Garnatxa sourced from sandy clay and limestone soils from head-pruned vines ranging in age from 40-60 years old. It is fermented whole cluster in concrete and aged well-seasoned French oak barrels. 94pts Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate

PRODUTTORI VINI MANDURIA ' ZIN ' FIANO, 2020

Fiano is one of the many fantastic white grapes worth investigating for all lovers of white wine. Packed with delicious ripe green apple and juicy pear fruit, there's a lovely unexpected orange peal citrus zip to the finish. The scent is intense and complex, with hints of sweet white fruit (apple and pear), expresses a delicate floral bouquet of orange flowers. On the palate the taste is dry, of good structure, fresh, justly sapid, it fully recalls the olfactory sensations. Cathal McBride, The Sunday Business Post, 08/08/21 | 90 Points.

DOMAINE GUERRIN & FILS POUILLY-FUISSÉ VIEILLES VIGNES 2019

‘Vieille vignes’ translates as old vines and this beautiful wine is made from vines from three plots totalling just 1.4ha in the exceptional historic terroir of Pouilly Fuissé, each of which is at least 40 years old. Old vines tend to deliver, as here, extra depth and concentration to a wine. From three plots of old vines on 1.4ha, this has peach and ripe pear aromas, creamy, velvety, soft white fruit flavours with lovely weight and complexity. The Saint Vérans from this producer are also excellent, combining rich fruits and herbal notes." Irish Examiner, Leslie Williams, August 10th 2021.

WEINGUT TÜRK KREMSER WEINBERGE RIESLING, 2018

"A stunner of a Riesling from Austria with laser-like focus, bone dry but honeyed, bright and pure, with a mineral kick." Tom Doorley, The Irish Mail on Sunday, 14th March, 2021

"Riesling is good at any level, but Austria makes great dry ones like this with its minerality and purity of fruit." 90/100 - Martin Moran, The Sunday Times, February 21st 2021
