STORY BEHIND THIS WINE

Few wines can match the quality to price ratio that you get with Austrian Grüner. Sitting somewhere between Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling we really don’t see enough of it on Irish restaurant wine lists. At Schloss Gobelsburg, modern technology has been eschewed in favour of a more traditional philosophy in a nod to its monastic past. There’s been no sacrifice in quality and a number of it’s single-site vineyards are world-renowned. Grüner is Austria’s favourite white and Schloss Gobelsburg is one of the reasons why.
