Sella & Mosca is Sardinia’s most famous winery, located in Alghero. It traces its origins back to two Piedmontese adventurers, Mr. Erminio Sella, an engineer, and Mr. Edgardo Mosca, a lawyer who in 1890 saw the unique potential of this beautiful estate and committed their names and their lives to developing this spectacular wine operation. The focus of this great estate is on the indigenous grape varieties: Cannonau and Vermintino. However, their Cabernet Sauvignon is legendary, often making it into the top 10 in the world awards.
